Free Wi-Fi in the Los Fresnos Community Park
- Updated: April 14, 2015
The City of Los Fresnos, in conjunction with the Ethel L. Whipple Memorial Library, is pleased to announce the availability of free Wi-Fi in the Los Fresnos Community Park, located on Highway 100 next to the Public Library.
The Ethel L. Whipple Memorial Library was awarded the EDGE Initiative Grant which is funded by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services and the Texas State Library and Archives Commission (CFDA#: 45.310) to assist in providing these services.
The Wi-Fi connection will serve to help the community by providing technology resources to help patrons meet important connectivity needs.
By providing outdoor Wi-Fi connectivity, patrons will have access to the internet while the library is closed.
Wi-Fi access will be available during park hours Sunday – Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. The connected bandwidth will be 2mbs, and there will be adhering to stringent filtering guidelines.
