Annual Emergency Preparedness Exercise Provides Free Health Screenings to Community

Operation Lone Star (OLS) is an emergency preparedness exercise to help us get ready for disasters and it’s coming to south Texas next week starting on Monday July 24th.
OLS brings FREE medical services to communities with help from hundreds of local service groups and volunteers.
Some of the services provided are: Immunizations for children; Diabetic screening; Blood pressure screening; Hearing and vision screenings; and Sports physicals.
OLS will be in our area at Hanna Early College High School, 2615 E. Price Rd. in Brownsville, on Monday, July 24 – Thursday, July 27, 8:00 – 4:00, and on Friday, July 28, 8:00 – 2:00.
This particular site will also offer dental services and vision exams for prescription glasses for adults and children.
