Homecoming Parade Scheduled for September 14th

The traditional Homecoming Parade, featuring all 14 schools in the Los Fresnos CISD, will be held this year at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, September 14, 2017.

Presented by The Los Fresnos High School Student Council and Los Fresnos Consolidated Independent School District, the parade will start at East Second and Brazil streets, proceed east on Second Street, turn north on Arroyo Boulevard and end at Los Fresnos High School..

This year’s parade theme will be “BE THE LIGHT”.

Schools throughout the district will participate with cheer groups, dance groups, and bands.

The one-mile long parade will conclude at Los Fresnos High School with the traditional burning of the LF letters.

The Homecoming football game is Friday, September 15th, at Leo Aguilar Memorial Stadium when Los Fresnos High School hosts McAllen High. Alumni groups are encouraged to participate.

The application and entry fee must be submitted by 4 p.m. Friday, September 8. Entries received after the date will be inserted to the end of the Parade line-up in the order received. The application must be signed to be accepted.

The Parade Line-Up list and diagram will be completed by 4 p.m. Tuesday, September 12. Entries received after that date will be inserted at the end of the parade. The list and diagram will be sent to you by email or fax on Wednesday, September 13.
