LFHS Commencement: What you need to know

Time: 7:30 p.m.
Location: Leo Aguilar Memorial Stadium
Arrive early, pack lightly
Gates will open at 6 p.m. Extra security precautions will be taken. All bags and purses will be checked by Los Fresnos CISD Police. There will be two entrances on the north and south sides of the stadium.
Student check-in
Students should check in at the stadium’s north side entrance by 6:30 p.m. They will be lined up along the track on the stadium’s north side according to their position determined at the rehearsal at 9 a.m. Saturday.
Parking
Plenty of parking is available on the north end of the stadium, but the parking is limited on the south end. Parents and other guests are encouraged to use free bus transportation starting at 6:30 p.m. Buses will return to their sites after the ceremony. Bus transportation is available at two remote sites:
- Los Fresnos High School south parking lot, 907 N. Arroyo Blvd.
- Los Fresnos United, 33790 FM 803
Inclement Weather Plan
If inclement weather threatens the Saturday evening ceremony, the following plan will be put in place:
- If the Saturday ceremony is postponed, it will be rescheduled at 6 p.m. Sunday, May 27 at Leo Aguilar Memorial Stadium.
- If inclement weather threatens the Sunday ceremony outdoors, Commencement would be moved indoors to the Los Fresnos High School Gym Sunday afternoon. Two ceremonies would be held:
- Students whose last names begin with A-L: 1:30 p.m. Sunday
- Students whose last names begin with M-Z: 6 p.m. Sunday
