Student Groups Recognized, Staff Approved

As the end of the school year approaches, student groups have been recognized before the Los Fresnos CISD Board of Trustees for their achievements during the 2017-18 school year.

Groups recognized include numerous athletic teams, Career and Technical Education groups, musical groups, UIL Academics teams, and American Math Competition award winners.

Staff hired at the May Board meeting include;

• Jennifer Escareño, Coordinator, Special Services
• Brittany N. Camacho, Diagnostician, Special Services
• Anna M. Farias, Diagnostician, Special Services
• Clarissa Rodriguez, Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, Special Services
• Eliza R. Lucio, Teacher, Los Fresnos High School
• Lily Ramos, Teacher, Los Fresnos Elementary
• Elvira Alvarado, Teacher, Olmito Elementary
• John Garza, Teacher, Villareal Elementary

Staff hired at a Special Called meeting April 30 include:

• James Storment, Assistant Principal, Liberty Memorial Middle School
• Eleuterio Martinez III, Counselor, Los Fresnos High School
• Victoria Berry, Athletic Trainer, Los Fresnos High School
• Mairely Keren Castillo, Music Teacher, Villareal Elementary
• Armando Leon, Math Teacher, Los Fresnos United
