Salsa Dancing Under The Stars at Artisan Market

This week’s Under The Stars Artisan Market is cranking the event to a higher notch by hosting one of the hottest dancing groups in the Rio Grande Valley.
Brownsville Salsa, a dancing group with about a dozen members, will show their best talent with a repertoire of salsa and merengue steps.
Linda Lopez, event coordinator for the Artisan Market, is inviting everybody to come out and enjoy the event.
She said the salsa dancers are one of several activities scheduled to take place during the artisan market from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. this Saturday, June 23 at the city’s Memorial Park on North Arroyo Boulevard. *EDIT* Due to inclement weather the Under the Stars Artisan Market has been rescheduled for Saturday night, June 30th, to coincide with the city’s annual 4th of July Celebration. SEE YOU THERE!
Other performances will be given by accordionist Cosme Serda and by the Sparks Cheerleaders.
Serna is one of the regulars who play at the world famous Chicken Club of Los Laureles.
The artisan market is a place where dozens of vendors set up booths and tables to sell aguas frescas, homemade goodies, plants, jewelry, art works and many other items.
