Los Fresnos Planning & Zoning Approves Three Subdivision Projects
- Updated: October 11, 2019
by Tony Vindell/LFN
Not one but three subdivision projects have been approved by the Los Fresnos Planning & Zoning Commission.
The board held a special meeting on Monday, Sept. 30, and approved two final plats and a preliminary one for Ortega, Ulloa-Reyna and Old Home Place subdivisions.
These three subdivisions are outside the city limits but because they are within the Los Fresnos Extra Territorial Jurisdiction, they have to be approved by the PZC and by the county.
The Ortega and Ulloa-Reyna projects are south of the city and they each called for two or three lots.
The third one, called for having 114 single family homes and is to be built north of the city off Stanford Road.
Now that PZC gave the green light of approval, the three projects will be taken before with Cameron County Commissioners for a second consideration.
