Each school in the county had one recipient. Awards were presented by\u00a0Patrol Agent in Charge Henry Leo of the Harlingen Border Patrol Station.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cHead of the Class\u201d award that recognizes seniors throughout the academic school year.\u00a0There are 61 high schools throughout the Rio Grande Valley participating this year.<\/p>\n<p>Delgado is the top-ranked student in the LFHS Class of 2019 which has 917 members. She is a National Hispanic Scholar, AP Scholar and a member of the LFHS girls&#8217; volleyball team since her freshman year where she has received numerous awards.
