Photo: Tony Vindell\/LFN<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>by Tony Vindell\/LFN<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>The new Los Fresnos City Hall under construction along Texas Highway 100 looks as good as it gets.<\/p>\n<p>The massive building is closer to being completed and, if everything goes as planned, it will be ready to be occupied before the end of the year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI believe we could be moving in on November 1,\u201d City Manager Mark Milum said. \u201cIt\u2019s almost completed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Asked if the city hall construction project is being built within budget projections, he said, \u201cYes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Construction of the $3.2 million facility began a year ago and the 11,500-square-feet will be twice the size of the existing city hall on North Brazil Street.<\/p>\n<p>The new building will be large enough to house the Los Fresnos Chamber of Commerce.<\/p>\n<p>Chamber officials said that will be a relief, particularly when it comes to using the restrooms.<\/p>\n<p>Up to now, they have no choice but to go to Wells Fargo Bank or to the convenience store across the street.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>by Tony Vindell\/LFN The new Los Fresnos City Hall under construction along Texas Highway 100 looks as good as it gets.
