Fans brought their vehicles with barbecue pits as early as 4:20 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>The featured entertainment included performances by student groups from three elementary schools and two middle schools in addition to LFHS\/LFU.<\/p>\n<p>Among the entertainers were members of the LFHS\/LFU Folklorico. The LFHS\/LFU Cheer Teams and Stars Dance team also performed, as well as the Los Cuates Middle School band.<\/p>\n<p>Tailgating began in Los Fresnos during the 2016 football season.<\/p>\n<p>District administrators carefully watched the weather forecasts for Friday evening.
