Photo: Tony Vindell\/LFN<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><em>by Tony Vindell\/LFN<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It was nearly 30 years ago when Julia Mancilla Garcia decided to take the plunge by owning and running a restaurant of her own.<\/p>\n<p>So she bought Fina\u2019s Restaurant and renamed it after herself.<\/p>\n<p>Twenty eight years later, Mancilla Garcia is at the helm of one of Los Fresnos full service restaurants that offers a variety of meals. Including Mexican- and American \u2013styled, seafood, desserts and an assortment of ice creams.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have been running Julia\u2019s since 1991,\u201d she said during another anniversary of the restaurant. \u201cIt was on November Fourth of that year.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And to mark the anniversary, customers were treated to a few snacks for most of the day.<\/p>\n<p>A table was set up on the side of the eatery.
