When did you start playing baseball? <\/strong>I started playing tee ball when I was 4 and continued to play baseball since then.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What position do you play?<\/strong> Anywhere in the outfield, but primarily left field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What do you like most about baseball?<\/strong> The life lessons it provides and the joy\/excitement I share with my teammates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is the strongest part of your game?<\/strong> I\u2019d say my strongest part is understanding the game well and knowing what to do in certain situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you play any other sports?<\/strong> I played other sports in middle school like basketball and football, but I focused on baseball in high school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you could only play one sport, which would it be?<\/strong> Baseball.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are you currently doing to stay active? <\/strong>Home body-weight workouts with some added weight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who is your favorite professional athlete?<\/strong> Tim Anderson (Shortstop for the Chicago White Sox).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is your favorite sports team? <\/strong>The Texas Rangers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is your favorite food?<\/strong> Anything with chicken in it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is your favorite movie?<\/strong> \u201cA Bronx Tale\u201d (starring Robert De Niro).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is your favorite book?<\/strong> \u201cThe American Pageant: A History of the American People.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you could live in any city in the world, where would that be? <\/strong>Westchester, New York.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you could have dinner with a famous person, past or present, who would that be?<\/strong> Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is something most people don’t know about you?<\/strong> I enjoy meditation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is your favorite subject in school?<\/strong> History.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you plan on going to college?<\/strong> I plan on getting my bachelor\u2019s at UTRGV and then transfer to the University of Connecticut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What do you want to major in?<\/strong> Physical therapy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What would you like to do in the future?<\/strong> Become a physical therapist\/strength coach for a professional sports team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Talk a little bit about what it’s been like having to endure this break. <\/strong>It\u2019s been tough and boring since I don\u2019t get to go out with my friends or just go to school in general.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How do you feel about the entire season being unfortunately cancelled?<\/strong> It\u2019s really an unfortunate turn of events and I never imagined that this is how I would stop playing the game I\u2019ve loved my whole life. But I\u2019m glad for the memories I got to make with my teammates and coaches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What have you learned from having to deal with this unprecedented experience?<\/strong> Don\u2019t take anything for granted and cherish every moment. Also how to deal with adversity and stay mentally strong.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
