The Rio Grande Valley Basketball Coaches Association recently announced its 2020 Senior All-Star teams and, as expected, Los Fresnos loaded both the boys and girls 6A East Valley rosters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the boys side, the Falcons, who went 33-4 on the season and advanced to the regional tournament for the first time in the program\u2019s history, placed four players on the team and head coach Marco Hinojosa was named Coach of the Year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, on the girls side, the Lady Falcons, who went 23-15 and advanced to the second round of the playoffs, had three players make the grade and head coach Rebecca Valdez was also named the squad\u2019s top skipper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Falcons that made the team were: Luis Gonzalez, Tony Aldrighetti, Elian Gonzalez and Ricky Altamirano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Lady Falcons that were selected were: Clarissa Esquibel, Giovanna Godoy and Ariadna Gallardo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the next few weeks, the Los Fresnos News will take a deeper look at each of the All-Star athletes from Los Fresnos High School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
