Beatrice Carlos and Shelby Crouch will be the Los Fresnos CISD representatives to the Region I Teacher of the Year, highlighting the Employee Awards Banquet Friday at Los Fresnos United campus.<\/p>\n

Carlos, who teaches at the College, Career and Technology Academy, was named Secondary Teacher of the Year. Crouch, who teaches at Rancho Verde Elementary, was named Elementary Teacher of the Year. Both will be nominated to the Region I Teacher of the Year award presentation.<\/p>\n

Each campus had a Teacher of the Year. They included:<\/p>\n

The event also included the presentation of the Bell Awards by the Top 10 students at Los Fresnos High School to teachers or other staff who influenced them during their school years.<\/p>\n
