Los Fresnos Opens 32-6A Play with a Win<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a BYE week for 32-6A play, the Los Fresnos Falcons opened up District 32-6A Play against the Rivera Raiders. After going 4-1 in Non-District play, the Falcons were ready to roll into 32-6A action. Los Fresnos and Brownsville Rivera last faced off in a Saturday night matchup that the Falcons won by a score of 39-6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Los Fresnos’ offense struck first as the Falcons scored three touchdowns to lead 21-0 at the end of the first quarter. Thanks to a solid defense was able to render Rivera scoreless. Tables turned on offense in the second quarter as Rivera picked up one touchdown to cut it down to a 14-point game. The Falcon offense was not able to score in the second quarter despite numerous attempts on offense. The half would end 21-7 Los Fresnos over Rivera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Entering the third quarter, Los Fresnos played standout football on both sides of the game. A solid defense that forced turnovers and virtually shut down the Raiders were backed up by a potent offense in which Los Fresnos tacked on two more touchdowns to lead 35-7 at the half. Los Fresnos would continue the two-way dominance for the rest of the game, picking up one more touchdown to defeat Brownsville Rivera 42-7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Now 5-1 on the season and 1-0 in 32-6A play, the Los Fresnos Falcons just have four more district games to go before the regular season ends. For 32-6A, Los Fresnos will face Weslaco next, Brownsville Hanna on October 21, San Benito on October 28, and Harlingen on November 4.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
