Olivia Rose Lugo age thirteen is a student at Los Cuates Middle School and has been noticed by Los Fresnos News as one of the many active students competing in many different areas at the Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Olivia Lugo is very active. Participating in Honor Band and Archery. Being on a Livestock Judging team, and raising an FFA project! Her Dad, Edward Lugo says, \u201cOlivia also performed with the Los Cuates Middle School honors band at a pre-UIL concert and helped the band earn all 1’s.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some of Lugo\u2019s interests include art and photography, FFA, animals, and agriculture! All of which she showed off at this year\u2019s 2023 Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


At only 13 years old, she sure seems to have a great deal of talent, winning 2nd place in archery and in black & white photography!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year Ms. Lugo showed her heifer, Raven. Raven didn\u2019t place as high as she and her Dad, Edward Lugo had hoped. Mr. Lugo tweeted, \u201cOlivia & Raven didn’t place as high as they wanted but gave everything they had.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Mr. Lugo expresses that though he knew his daughter was unhappy with the results at first, she performed her very best and gave it everything she had. He later says, \u201cI couldn’t be prouder of my little girl.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n


He explains just some of what the routine scheduling was like. Wake up early..5 am, 6am, Help clean the pen, Feed twice a day, Bathe & blow dry Raven regularly, and Work with Raven (walking, setting up, bonding). Etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhatever needs to be done, she is there mentally ready to work, help, & learn.\u201d says Mr. Lugo.
Olivia Lugo is an honors student and has attended LFCISD schools since Pre-K. She has been participating in and raising FFA projects since 3rd grade raising rabbits, a breeding goat, and 2 heifers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Her dad tweeted, \u201cShe is looking forward to Raven having a calf next yr & raising it to show. She has a long-term plan & dad is here to help her.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
