Many wonderful organizations have joined us in making this an educational<br>and fun event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Los Fresnos Public Works *Texas Master Naturalists<br>Resaca de la Palma State Park *Triumph Public High School<br>Los Fresnos Rotary Club *Fragile Planet Wildlife Park<br>Cameron County Master Gardeners *SPI\/PI Shell Club<br>Arroyo Colorado Audubon Society *Little Lighthouse Children\u2019s Rehab<br>City of Los Fresnos \u2013 Your Health Matters *Friends of the Ethel Whipple Library<br>Enjoying nature on Earth Day is also a must, so bring your family to join in the<br>children\u2019s activities to learn and have fun. Activities such as face painting, bubble<br>station, bounce house, arts &amp; crafts, fish casting lessons hosted by Fishing Futures<br>and the following scheduled activities:<br>Two new additions to our celebration this year are an Earth Day Art Contest hosted<br>by the Ethel Whipple Public Library and local vendors selling their products.<br>The Ethel Whipple Public Library is hosting an Earth Day Art Contest (Deadline<br>April 14, 2023) with four divisions: K-2nd; 3rd-5th; 6th-8th, and 9th-12th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Please go by the public library, located at 402 West Ocean Blvd. in Los Fresnos, to speak with the Librarians Angie Lugo and Iris Garcia about this wonderful opportunity. Prizes will<br>be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for each division. Winners will be announced at<br>the Earth Day celebration. All entries will be displayed at the public library April<br>15th \u2013 21st and at the park during the event for all to see.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Vendors such as Rx Gaia Remedies, Juices By Trisha, Southern Feathers, Vicencio<br>Family Gardens, Country Sweets 956, Trinidad Creations, The Wolf &amp; Raven Co.,<br>Master Hairwrap and others will join us this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Please contact the Los Fresnos Earth Day Committee Chairperson Norma Cruz at<br>956-203-4890 or contact via email at cruzlnorma204@gmail.com for information<br>on joining the fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Earth Day at the Los Fresnos Nature Park will be a great day to spend with your<br>family and friends in the great outdoors!
