Well, get ready for some island holiday fun? Fun starts on Thursday, November 30th with the Lighting Tree Ceremony. On Friday December 1st the 34th Annual SPI Christmas Street Parade will kick off at 6 p.m. Cash awards will e given to all the winners from 1st -$500, 2nd -$300, 3rd -$200 and finalist-$100. So, get ready to see some beautifully decorated floats that will travel south on Padre Blvd. From Mars to Acapulco. For even more lighted fun, on Saturday December 2nd will be the popular annual Lighted Boat Parade, which will start at 6 p.m. Designated areas throughout the boat route will offer free public viewing. The best viewing for the boat parade will be at the Entertainment District. Boat categories are commercial boats, medium\/large boats, and small\/medium boats. There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in each category. El viernes 1 de diciembre, el 34\u00ba Desfile Callejero Anual de Navidad de SPI comenzar\u00e1 a las 6 p.m. Se otorgar\u00e1n premios en efectivo a todos los ganadores, desde el primero: $500, el segundo: $300, el tercero: $200 y el finalista: $100. As\u00ed que prep\u00e1rate para ver algunas carrozas bellamente decoradas que viajar\u00e1n hacia el sur por Padre Blvd. De Marte a Acapulco. Para disfrutar a\u00fan m\u00e1s de la diversi\u00f3n iluminada, el s\u00e1bado 2 de diciembre se realizar\u00e1 el popular desfile anual de botes iluminados, que comenzar\u00e1 a las 6 p.m. Las \u00e1reas designadas a lo largo de la ruta del barco ofrecer\u00e1n visualizaci\u00f3n p\u00fablica gratuita. La mejor visualizaci\u00f3n del desfile de barcos ser\u00e1 en el Distrito de Entretenimiento. Las categor\u00edas de embarcaciones son embarcaciones comerciales, embarcaciones medianas\/grandes y embarcaciones peque\u00f1as\/medianas. Habr\u00e1 ganadores del primer, segundo y tercer lugar en cada categor\u00eda.
