This December the Los Fresnos Las Palmas Housing Community got to experience the magic of Christmas with Maya\u2019s Love 3rd Annual Holiday Electric Parade. Many in the community joined together to make this event possible. This was also the second year the Los Fresnos Police Department Blue Santa joined them on their special day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Maya\u2019s Love is a San Antonio based non-profit organization. Together they are touching the lives of countless children and communities in the area. Founder and CEO, Maira Carrier shares, \u201cOur mission at Maya\u2019s Love is to provide a symbol of care for any child who is experiencing emotional trauma through resource filled events and personalized care packages. We provide multiple educational opportunities that allow for community empowerment.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maya\u2019s Love Holiday Car parade definitely made a lasting impact on the children of the Las Palmas Community. Maya\u2019s Love continues to be driven by the love it holds for the communities it serves. They encourage others to continue to spread kindness and compassion throughout the community. With their love and dedication, Maya\u2019s Love is truly making a difference in the lives they touch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Este diciembre, la Comunidad de Vivienda Los Fresnos Las Palmas pudo experimentar la magia de la Navidad con el 3er Desfile El\u00e9ctrico Navide\u00f1o Anual de Maya\u2019s Love. Muchos en la comunidad se unieron para hacer posible este evento. Este fue tambi\u00e9n el segundo a\u00f1o en que el Pap\u00e1 Noel Azul del Departamento de Polic\u00eda de Los Fresnos se uni\u00f3 a ellos en su d\u00eda especial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Maya’s Love es una organizaci\u00f3n sin fines de lucro con sede en San Antonio. Juntos est\u00e1n tocando las vidas de innumerables ni\u00f1os y comunidades de la zona. La fundadora y directora ejecutiva, Maira Carrier, comparte: \u201cNuestra misi\u00f3n en Maya’s Love es brindar un s\u00edmbolo de cuidado para cualquier ni\u00f1o que est\u00e9 experimentando un trauma emocional a trav\u00e9s de eventos llenos de recursos y paquetes de atenci\u00f3n personalizados.
