The City of South Padre Island is thrilled to invite you to the Annual Fourth of July Beach Parade. Get ready to celebrate America’s independence in a burst of excitement and color! Dress up in your most patriotic clothing and accessories, and join the parade as it kicks off at Whitecap Circle Beach Access #8, making its way to Beach Circle Beach Access #4. As you march along the shore, refreshments such as watermelon and water will be provided (while supplies last), and there will be exciting giveaways. The fun begins at 9:00 a.m. with the line-up, and the parade officially starts at 9:30 a.m. Don’t miss the chance to show off your patriotic spirit, dress up your little ones and furry friends, and join the festivities!
As the day winds down, prepare for a spectacular fireworks display at 9:15 p.m. along the Bayside. For the prime viewing experience, head over to the Greens at Jim’s Pier or any of the great bars in the Entertainment District. Make sure to arrive early to snag the best spot and soak in the brilliance of the fireworks show.
Of course, it’s essential to remember the well-being of our furry friends when the dazzling fireworks light up the sky. As we gather to celebrate on the 4th of July, it’s crucial to be aware that the explosive lights and loud noises can be distressing for our pets. The South Padre Island Animal Control Officers kindly urge us to ensure our pets are kept in a calm and secure area during the festivities.
