On February 22, 1989, Jeremy Springer was born in Harlingen, Texas. He attended school in Los Fresnos, where he participated in track and field, basketball, and football. Initially, Jeremy played as a wide receiver before switching to quarterback in his senior year, becoming the starter in 2006. At Los Fresnos, he played alongside his twin brother and set records for points scored and single-season passing yards. In his senior year, he totaled 3,489 yards and threw 42 touchdowns, earning recognition as an all-state player and district player of the year. Additionally, Springer was a member of the National Honor Society and was listed in Who’s Who Among High School Students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Springer committed to playing for the UTEP Miners in college from 2007 to 2011. While playing for UTEP, he was an assistant in football operations in 2011. From 2013 to 2014, he worked as a graduate assistant focusing on special teams and the defensive line. In 2015, he joined the Texas A&M Aggies as a special teams quality control coach. In 2021, he was hired in the same position with the Marshall Thundering Herd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Springer ultimately entered the professional ranks by becoming the assistant special teams coach for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League. After two years with the Rams, he was named the special teams coordinator for the New England Patriots in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


The City of Los Fresnos and the entire Rio Grande Valley should be very proud of Jeremy’s accomplishments, as they highlight that there are no limits to what one can achieve in life with perseverance and dedication. Jeremy has excelled at every level, and it all began here in the RGV as a Los Fresnos Falcon.
