LFCISD<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Los Fresnos CISD hosted the annual Elementary Academic Event on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at the Resaca Middle School campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Villareal Elementary School won the EAE Sweepstakes trophy with a total of 173 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Palmer-Laakso Elementary took second place with 168 points and Rancho Verde Elementary took third with 133points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The EAE consists of second to fifth grade students from the nine district elementary schools.  Students spent months preparing with their campus academic coaches leading up to EAE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The students took part in 18 events including Science, Mathematics, Number Sense, Creative Writing, Ready Writing, and Oral Reading in English and Spanish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The top six places in each category receiving awards were:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
