This award is awarded based on votes. All the teams at the camp vote on one team that stands out, the team with the best leadership skills, the team that they would most want to be a part of, and that team was ours.<\/p>\n<p>Individually, Leslie Ramos and Robert Nino were named UCA All American, and Nino was also asked to be a part of the staff because of his exemplary cheerleading skills.<\/p>\n<p>Varsity cheerleaders attending were:\u00a0Sarah Higgerson, \u00a0Jennifer Atkinson,\u00a0Leslie Ramos,\u00a0Robert Nino,\u00a0Angelina Yzaguirre,\u00a0Isabel Watson,\u00a0Larissa Duran,\u00a0April Castillo,\u00a0David Lozoya,\u00a0Rosanna Villarreal,\u00a0Alle Elizondo,\u00a0Alex Lopez,\u00a0Joshua Perez,\u00a0Abby Fonseca,\u00a0Julisa Rodriguez,\u00a0Jasmin Vasquez and\u00a0Angela Zamora.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The LFHS cheerleaders took home two honors and received superior ratings at the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) camp in Edinburg July 29-Aug. 1.
