There were free rides, entertainment, games and, of course, candy for everyone. For those wanting to purchase food items, several churches, clubs and individuals had tasty choices of food for sale. Fun family games and activities were hosted by community organizations and clubs, several churches, the City of Los Fresnos, the United States Marines and several businesses.<\/p>\n
Those brave enough, went through the free haunted house manned by students from the Los Fresnos High School Theatre Group under the direction of Larry McConnell.<\/p>\n

Lots of games of the kids.<\/p><\/div>\n
The Los Fresnos Fire Department brought \u201cBig Red\u201d their fire truck and gave out great pencils and erasers and Valley Metro had a Haunted Bus. The Los Fresnos Police Department provided bags that contained, along with candy, children\u2019s coloring and activity books on seat belts and proper use of 911 for children.<\/p>\n

The Ethel Whipple Memorial Library had a table with free back packs containing school supplies. They also gave out a great selection of children books.<\/p>\n
Students from the high school entertained the crowd with singing and even break dancing. The Migrant Club from Los Fresnos High School did a great job of volunteering by helping in any way needed.<\/p>\n
