Forty-three Los Fresnos CISD middle school band members earned a chair in the 2014 All-Valley Band during Region 28 competition Jan. 18 in San Benito.<\/p>\n

\"Five

Five Resaca Middle School students were named to the All-Valley Band.<\/p><\/div>\n

Thousands of students from schools throughout the Valley tried out, and these 43 students came out on top of their sections to\u00a0earn the bragging rights of being called the \u201cBest in the Valley.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 43 will attend a clinic Friday and Saturday and will be among the All-Valley performers at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Harlingen Performing Arts Center.<\/p>\n

Six Liberty Memorial Middle School students were selected to the All-Valley Band.<\/p><\/div>\n

Los Cuates Middle School led the Los Fresnos CISD schools with 32 students earning All-Valley honors. The number was more than any other middle school in Region 28, and was a record for Los Fresnos CISD.<\/p>\n

\"Thirty-two

Thirty-two Los Cuates Middle School students were named to the All-Valley Band.<\/p><\/div>\n

Three students \u2013 Yamila De La Rosa from Los Cuates Middle School, Edric Salazar from Liberty Memorial Middle School, and Ben Garcia from Resaca Middle School \u2013 earned first chair honors in the Honor Band.<\/p>\n
