We are about to hold the 5th annual Leo Aguilar Foundation\/Los Fresnos CISD 5K Walk\/Run for Fun. This year\u2019s event will be held on October 18, 2014.<\/p>\n

The purpose for having the LAF and LFCISD 5K Walk\/Run is four fold:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. To promote a healthy way of life. By having the 5k Walk\/Run, we encourage all to get into a habit of exercising regularly, which could be as simple as walking or running.<\/li>\n
  2. We include a \u201cFree\u201d Health Fair to all who attend to take advantage of the many health professionals at the fair.<\/li>\n
  3. We ask all students to bring (along with their $4.00 entry fee) 4 food pantry items. All food collected will be given to our local Food Pantry.<\/li>\n
  4. All proceeds to be awarded as scholarships to worthy students at the end of the school year.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
