Los Fresnos High School and the South Texas Juniors Volleyball Club will co-sponsor the Summer Volleyball Camp July 27-31 at the LFHS Back Gym for student-athletes in grades 7-12.<\/p>\n

Participants in grades 7-9 will hold camp from 2-5 p.m., while students in grades 10-12 will hold camp from 5:30-8:30 p.m. The registration fee of $75 includes a camp t-shirt.<\/p>\n

The 12th Annual Summer Volleyball Boot Camp was held for student-athletes in grades 7 to 12 from June 27 to July 18 at the LFHS Back Gym. The camp ran for nine three-hour sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-9 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon.<\/p>\n

Vertical jumping, strength, speed, conditioning and volleyball skills were the main focus of the Boot Camp. The workouts primarily included the use of medicine balls, boxes, bands and free weights.
