Photo: Special to LFN.<\/p><\/div>\n<p><strong>HARLINGEN, Texas<\/strong> \u2013 In celebration of Mexico\u2019s Independence Day, the City of Harlingen is hosting the annual \u201cMexican Independence Day Celebration,\u201d an evening filled with music and pageantry of the Mexican culture from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2015, at the Harlingen Municipal Auditorium, 1204 Fair Park Blvd., Harlingen, Texas.<\/p>\n<p>The public is welcome to attend and there is no admission fee. The event will conclude when Consul of Mexico, Ministro Rodolfo Quilant\u00e1n Arenas, will initiate the traditional \u201cEl Grito De Delores\u201d ceremony, \u201cThe Shout for Independence,\u201d representing one of the most iconic Mexican civic celebrations.
