At many Los Fresnos CISD Board of Trustees meetings throughout the year, students are recognized for their achievements and meet board members at the start of meetings.<\/p>\n

The shoe will be on the other foot when the Board of Trustees meets for its regular monthly meeting at 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 16.<\/p>\n

January is Board Recognition Month, and the seven trustees will be thanked in unique ways by representatives of the 14 district schools at the start of the meeting.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s the schools\u2019 way to honor trustees for the selfless work they do to support students. Last year’s presentations included instrumental music, vocal music, poetry, paintings and humor.<\/p>\n
