The rodeo committee presented scholarship award certificates to seven students from Los Fresnos, Brownsville, Harlingen, and Rio Hondo.<\/p>\n<p>The scholarships awarded valued at $1,000.00 and could be used in combination with other scholarships awarded. The seven students receiving the scholarships were: Angel Fernandez of Brownsville, Daniel Castillo of Harlingen, Andres Vasquez &amp; Yaseli Flores of Rio Hondo and Briana Garza, Tayler Mancillas, Samantha Ramirez of Los Fresnos.
