This year\u2019s event takes place at local comic shops on Saturday, May 6th\u2013fans are encouraged to visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.freecomicbookday.com\/StoreLocator\">FCBD\u2019s official store locator<\/a> to find their participating local comic shop.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFree Comic Book Day is shaping up to be quite an event,\u201d said FCBD spokesperson Michael Moccio. \u201cWith such a broad range of titles this year tying into major properties like <em>Guardians of the Galaxy,<\/em><em>Wonder Woman<\/em>, <em>Rick &amp; Morty<\/em>, and <em>Buffy the Vampire Slayer<\/em>, new and existing fans alike will find something they\u2019ll want to keep up with throughout 2017.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.freecomicbookday.com\/catalog\">Dark Horse Comics, DC Entertainment, IDW Publishing, Image Comics, and Marvel Comics are among the 37 publishers offering 50 exclusive comic book titles and editions for Free Comic Book Day 2017.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>After 16 years, Free Comic Book Day continues to appeal to a broad range of readers, making it a wonderful event for fans of all ages to explore what their local comic book shop has to offer.
