Six student groups were recognized at a Special Called meeting of the Los Fresnos CISD Board of Trustees Monday.<\/p>\n

The groups recognized included the LFHS\/LFU Band, Mariachi Nuevo Halc\u00f3n, Girls’ Soccer, Boys’ Wrestling, Falcon Law Club and Engineering Club.<\/p>\n

Celest Gonzalez was approved as a new counselor for Los Cuates Middle School.<\/p>\n

Trustees also approved the 2017-18 work calendar for manual trades employees who work 260 days.<\/p>\n

Trustees held a Policy Committee meeting after the Board meeting.<\/p>\n
