Los Fresnos High School UIL Academics Team was recognized at the special meeting of the LFCISD Board of Trustees last Monday night.<\/p><\/div>\n

The last of student groups to be recognized for the 2016-17 school year were presented at the Los Fresnos CISD Board of Trustees meeting Monday, May 22nd.<\/p>\n

Members of the Los Fresnos High School\/Los Fresnos United UIL Academics teams was recognized by the board for their achievements. LFU won the District 32-6A UIL Academics Freshman division championship.<\/p>\n

The LFHS baseball team, which also won a district championship, was also presented.<\/p>\n

There was one teacher hire approved \u2013 Sherryl Quelhorst as an English teacher at Los Fresnos High School. Trustees also approved the administrative staff contract recommendations.<\/p>\n

District Champion LFHS Falcon Baseball Team was honored for their acheivements at the last Los Fresnos CISD School Board meeting held on Monday, May 22nd.<\/p><\/div>\n

Trustees also received a report about a Request for Proposals process pertaining to a Food Service Management Service. Under the Action Items part of the meeting, trustees awarded the agreement\/contract for CSP #16-17-31, Food Service Management company, to Southwest Foodservice Excellence (SFE) for a one-year cost reimbursable contract with the option to renew on an annual basis for an additional four years, subject to regulatory approval.<\/p>\n
