However, Social Security numbers are requested for identification purposes if available.<\/li>\n<li>Copy of child\u2019s records from the school most recently attended<\/li>\n<li>Satisfactory evidence of required immunizationsProof of address (current tax records or utility bill)<\/li>\n<li>Proof of address (current tax records or current utility statement)<\/li>\n<li>Proof of income (current documents for eligibility of lunch status)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Pre-Kindergarten Eligibility \u2013 Open Enrollment<\/strong><br \/>\nTo be eligible for enrollment under Open Enrollment for students of Los Fresnos CISD residents:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Parent\/guardian must be a resident of Los Fresnos CISD; AND<\/li>\n<li>Child reaches four years of age on or before September 1, 2018<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Pre-Kindergarten Eligibility \u2013 State-Approved Enrollment<\/strong><br \/>\nTo be eligible for enrollment under state-approved guidelines:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Parent\/guardian must be a resident of Los Fresnos CISD; AND<\/li>\n<li>Child reaches four years of age on or before September 1, 2018; AND<\/li>\n<li>Limited English Proficiency; or<\/li>\n<li>Educationally disadvantaged according to state\u2019s standards (free\/reduced lunch); or<\/li>\n<li>Child is homeless; or<\/li>\n<li>The child of an active-duty member of the armed forces of the United States, including the state military forces or a reserved component of the armed forces, who is ordered to active duty by proper authority; or<\/li>\n<li>The child of a member of the armed forces of the United States, including the state military forces or a reserved component of the armed forces, who was injured or killed while serving on active duty within the district; or<\/li>\n<li>The child\u00a0has ever been in the conservatorship of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (foster care) following an adversary hearing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For kindergarten eligibility, students must be five years of age on or before Sept. 1, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>For more information, contact the offices of the respective campuses.
