Photo: lfrodeo.com<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>by Tony Vindell\/LFN<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>The 30th annual Los Fresnos Rodeo is about six weeks away and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.etix.com\/ticket\/v\/12889\/los-fresnos-prca-rodeo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tickets for the city\u2019s biggest event of the year went on sale Monday, Jan. 7.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The three-day rodeo will be held Feb. 15, 16 and 17 at the rodeo grounds off Texas Highway 100 on the east part of town.<\/p>\n<p>This year the committee in charge of the event is proud to announce that David Lee Garza will perform at the Friday, Feb. 15 concert and Easton Corbin at the Saturday, Feb. 16 concert.<\/p>\n<p>George Gomez, vice chairman with the rodeo committee, said it\u2019s hard to imagine that the horse-bucking, bull-riding show is now it in its third decade.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have gone from a baby to a professional event,\u201d he said. \u201cWe have gone through a lot of sweat and tears to have a world class rodeo.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The rodeo is sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association.<\/p>\n<p>As in previous years, the committee is always seeking sponsorships by offering packages to individuals, businesses and other entities whose support has been instrumental in making the rodeo a successful occurrence.<\/p>\n<p>For more information visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lfrodeo.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.lfrodeo.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>by Tony Vindell\/LFN The 30th annual Los Fresnos Rodeo is about six weeks away and tickets for the city\u2019s biggest event of the year went on sale Monday, Jan. 7.
