The 30th annual Los Fresnos PRCA Rodeo and Cameron County Fair & Livestock Show will start this Friday and will run through Sunday.<\/p>\n

The three-day rodeo brings some of the best cowboys from throughout the United States and from several foreign countries.<\/p>\n

Mike Todd, chairman with the rodeo committee, said everything is ready for the rodeo – the city\u2019s biggest event of 2019.<\/p>\n

The first function will start at 7:30 p.m. Friday, while the second will begin at 7 p.m. Saturday.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, or the last day of the rodeo, kick off time will be at 3 p.m.<\/p>\n

Todd said this year\u2019s rodeo is looking as good as it gets.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am feeling real good about it,\u201d he said. \u201cPresale tickets are going strong and I believe this rodeo is going to be bigger and better.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fridays livestock show activities includes the judging of beef cattle, lambs and goats, an Old Timers Cattle show and the hilarious mutton busting contest and a fireworks display.<\/p>\n

David Lee Garza and Los Musicales will perform right after the rodeo.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, there will be the judging of market hogs, a pee wee showmanship and several bands will play under the Tejas Rental corral tent.<\/p>\n

Easton Corbin will play after the rodeo.<\/p>\n

And on Sunday, or the last day of the rodeo and livestock fair, the judging of rabbits and livestock will be held.<\/p>\n

A blue grass band will play in the afternoon and everything will come to an end at 9 p.m.<\/p>\n

In addition to the rodeo and livestock fair and show, the monthly Under the Stars Artisan Market will be held in conjunction with activities all three days.<\/p>\n
