The 5th Annual Los Fresnos CISD Community Back-To-School Fair will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, July 31 at the Los Fresnos United Dome, located at 33790 FM 803.
Three sponsors – BCFS Health and Human Services, Su Clínica and Superior Health Plan – have donated sets of school supplies, and gently-used uniforms on a first-come, first-served basis. Supplies are limited.
Immunizations will be provided by The University of Texas Health, and parents are encouraged to bring student vaccination cards. Free haircuts will be given by Southern Careers Institute.
New backpacks donated by sponsors will be given away to the neediest families who have already been identified by district staff. Those families have been notified that their names will be on a list for backpack giveaways.
Vendors will be providing health information and services at the Health Fair to bring health awareness to the community, friends and family.
For more information, contact the Los Fresnos CISD Parental Involvement Office at 956-254-5091.
