Christmas Parade, Outdoor Market this Saturday

As the most wonderful time of the year is now here, Los Fresnos gets ready to celebrate the holiday season under a “Magic of Christmas” theme.
So a parade, festival and outdoors market will be held this Saturday, Dec. 7, beginning at 6 p.m.
And as usual, Santa Claus will highlight the evening full of activities for people of all ages.
Val Champion, executive director with Los Fresnos Area Chamber of Commerce, had said the annual event keeps getting bigger and better.
He said the parade generally has more than 40 entries and a team of three judges review each category and award prizes to the top three.
It starts at Second Street and Arroyo Boulevard and ends at Memorial Park where a Christmas festival and the monthly Under the Stars Artisan Market will be held.
Champion said new this year is live music provided by the Texas Showdown Band.
Other activities include free train rides, a bouncer, obstacle course and wall climbing.
