Los Cuates Band Takes Top Honors in Two Competitions

The Los Cuates Middle School Honor Band enjoyed another exceptional contest year, receiving straight 1s at the Donna Band Festival and straight 1s in Sight reading at the UIL Contest.
The Honor Winds received Straight 1s at the Donna Band Festival, UIL Concert and Sight reading and the South Coast Band Festival in Corpus Christi for a total of 12 1st division awards.
Under the direction of Criselda Marroquin-Morrell, Bryan Morrell and Jerry Morales, the Cougar Band continues the tradition as one of the top middle school bands in the Rio Grande Valley.
