First Annual Freedom Run to Benefit American Legion Post 632

Mid Valley Events will be holding the first annual Freedom Run 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Run on Saturday, July 6th, in Laureles County Park. The run is a benefit with all proceeds going toward American Legion Post 632 for a new roof, repairs and a support center for veterans.
Laureles County Park is located at Bingley Road FM 2893, just outside of Los Fresnos City Limits. Entry fees are $10 for the 1 Mile Run and $20 for the 5K Run/Walk if paid before June 16th and increase to $15 for the 1 Mile Run and $25 for the 5K June 17-30 and race day.
Tshirts will be given to the first 300 registered and all finishers will receive a finisher’s medal. Awards will be given to the first three palces in each age division in the 5K – 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.
