Grand Opening of Star Insurance Advisors

On an overcast and windy day, Star Insurance Advisors LLC. celebrated the grand opening of their new location. Tuesday, March 14th, they held their grand opening a ribbon cutting ceremony. 50+ people came to help bring a welcome to the new business and receive goodie bags, snacks, raffle prizes, and more.
At 1:30, The Los Fresnos Chamber of Commerce presented the ribbon and scissors to symbolize the accomplishment of a new business in the City of Los Fresnos. During the ribbon cutting, Mrs. Claudia Villarreal, Owner of STAR Insurance Advisors LLC., thanked all that had come to support.
“For my agents, for all my clients and community partners,” Villareal says, “It’s a huge blessing.” The City Manager, Mark Milum congratulate Mrs. Villareal, he also gave some brief words.
The event was packed with a photo booth, vendors to support local businesses, music, and more!
What is STAR Insurance?
Villareal mentions they work a lot with the senior community, “to provide education and help them find a good insurance plan for themselves or insurance for their families.” STAR Insurance works with health, life, and medicare. Villareal says they wanted to bring something to the community that she knows is not already here.
“It’s a good home-office space where they can come in and feel at home,” Villareal explains she wants the environment to be welcoming.
With many vendors, Los Fresnos News asked what that was, Villareal says, “We wanted to make it fun,” not only bringing awareness to our agency but also the local clinics and dentist offices.” she mentions that it’s important to do this because “These are the ones that I collaborate with on a daily basis.” Villareal says they send clients her way, and she sends clients their way.
Part of the fun of the event was the raffling! Businesses that set up tables also contributed by giving out raffle prizes. Other groups included Trinidad, which is an adult day care center, they mention they are looking for a driver/attendant to care for elderly patients. JK Medical Clinic and Los Fresnos Medicine, both being family care clinics offering basic check-ups, ultrasounds, labs, and x-rays performed.
The vendors all contributed to gift raffles for the event. They also gave bags, pens, and other giveaways. STAR Insurance Advisors LLC had DJ Omar for music and announcements, Cake, drinks, and other snacks as well were provided. All in all the community that came out really enjoyed the event and just about everyone went home with raffle prizes or goodies.
