The Lady Falcons continued non-District action in tournament play. Facing off against opponents from outside the RGV, the Lady Falcons knew that being exposed to new teams meant that they would also be exposed to a different variety of talent.
Due up first for the Lady Falcons were the Cibolo Steele Lady Knights. Unfortunately, things did not go as planned as the Lady Falcons fell to the Lady Knights 7-3. To Bounce back, the Lady Falcons took on Southwest Legacy High. In a back-and-forth battle, Los Fresnos prevailed and won 11-10.
Day two saw the Lady Falcons take on San Antonio Warren. Dominance on both sides of the ball was the key as Los Fresnos would take the win 9-3. Looking to continue the win streak, Los Fresnos faced off against MacArthur High. Once again, things took a turn for the worse as MacArthur blanked the Lady Falcons 14-0, giving Los Fresnos their worst loss of the season.
Returning to non-district play, Los Fresnos took on the Corpus Christi Moody Lady Trojans. The Lady Falcons were able to avoid a Two Game losing streak and picked up a 14-4 win.
The Lady Falcons will continue non-district play as they continue to prepare for 32-6A Play which opens up against Rivera on March 14.
