The Calendar has officially switched over to 2025, and we are just 4 days away from District 32-6A Action for the Lady Falcons. So before we look at 2025 and what’s to come. Let’s take a look at how December played out.
A 5-4 record was how the 12th month ended for December. To open up December action, the Lady Falcons went 1-1 against Edinburg Schools, losing to Edinburg high 56-52, but bouncing back to win against Economedes 64-19.
The Lady Falcons then suffered two losses in tournament play against Rio Hondo (69-34), and LJ Palmview (58-41).
Los Fresnos would bounce back to win two straight against PSJA (50-33), and Port Isabel (70-35).
For the last three games of December, they were some interesting ones. The Lady Falcons then clashed with former district rival Weslaco. In a back and forth battle, the Lady Panthers pounced on Los Fresnos in the end and won 48-42. Thing shaped up for Los Fresnos as the Lady Falcons finished off the month with two big games over Edinburg North (65-44), and La Joya (45-39).
The Lady Falcons ended December 5-4, and look to get ready for the final push to District 32-6A, which begins January 7.
