Laguna Madre Christian Academy to host Labor Day Family Concert

Event to benefit school scholarship fund

Laguna Vista, Texas- August 20, 2013. Great music, food, fun and games for kids and more are what attendees will enjoy at Laguna Madre Christian Academy’s (LMCA’s) family concert on Labor Day, September 2, 2013. The event will be held from 5 till 8 pm on the spacious grounds of Sarati Labs located at 27502 Ted Hunt Road off FM510 in Bayview, next to River’s End Nursery.

The Labor Day family concert will feature musical performances by various groups that include members of Pelican West & Hilltop, Brett Marshall & Ensemble, Alan Stewart, The Door Youth Band and other entertainers. Various booths will be set up throughout the grounds offering food and beverages as well as balloons, face-painting and moon bounces for children, arts & crafts and plants. Attendees are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and blankets and come ready to enjoy an afternoon of family fun.

“We want to invite everyone to come out and enjoy the concert because it’s an event that the entire family can enjoy.” Stated Barbara Creighton, event coordinator. “The event is all about and for the children at Laguna Madre Christian Academy and what they need to ensure their educational success. Many parents in this area do not know there is an alternative to send their children to a Christian private school and this event will spread the word and help students who need tuition assistance.”

Tickets for the concert are $10.00 each and children 10 years and under enter free. Tickets can be purchased at the gate on the day of the event, or pre-sale from LMCA school parents or at Laguna Vista Christian Academy located at 30640 Holly Beach Road, in Laguna Vista, Texas.
