Construction on the new McDonald’s Restaurant in on Hwy. 100 in Los Fresnos is progressing with a mid-fall opening planned. Los Fresnos City Manager Mark Milum confirmed that a 122,000-square foot WalMart Supercenter is coming to town. The store is expected to be built on an undeveloped piece of land across the street from the Stars Drive-In off Highway 100 on the city’s westside. Milum said the WalMart Supercenter is expected to be open by April 2014 and will include groceries, a pharmacy and a garden center.
