Thirteen Teachers Recognized for Receiving Master’s Degrees

Thirteen teachers were recognized for receiving master’s degrees at the Los Fresnos CISD Board of Trustees meeting Monday.
Out of 661 teachers in the Los Fresnos CISD, there are now 182 teachers with advanced degrees, which equals 27.5 percent.
Thirteen Teachers Recognized for Receiving Master’s Degrees
The teachers received their master’s degrees in May or August 2013. Each received a plaque for their achievements. They included:

- Amie D. Cobo-Clark, Resaca Middle School: Biology, UTB
- Melizza Garcia, Los Fresnos United: Educational Technology, UTB
- Patricia Garcia, Palmer-Laakso Elementary: Special Education, UTB
- Natalie Gonzalez, Los Cuates Middle School: Curriculum and Instruction, UTB
- Heather Luna, Laureles Elementary: Educational Technology, UTB
