LFCISD Schools Honor Veterans
- Updated: November 22, 2013
Several Los Fresnos CISD schools held Veterans’ Day activities to honor those brave men and women who fought to defend the freedom of United States citizens.
Los Fresnos High School held a flag-raising ceremony, and all three middle schools held Veterans’ Day activities. Each school invited veterans who were parents or other relatives of students at their respective schools.
Several schools also honored teachers and administrators who are also veterans of different branches of the military.
The Los Fresnos Naval JROTC made appearances at seven campuses throughout the day, and performed routines before packed houses. At each of the middle school and elementary school campuses, all students packed their respective school gymnasiums.
