LFE Repeats as Elementary Academic Event Champion

Los Fresnos Elementary repeated as champion in the annual Elementary Academic Event Saturday at Los Fresnos High School.

The biggest academic competition for elementary schools produced almost 547 participants including alternates.

Los Fresnos will have bragging rights again, edging out Olmito Elementary, which finished second. Villareal Elementary finished third. The top three schools received trophies.
