Zumbathon and Toy Drive Bring Smiles to Local Children
- Updated: December 26, 2014
Two separate events brought numerous toy donations for local Los Fresnos children. The first of the two events took place on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at the Los Fresnos Family Dentistry parking lot where a Zumbathon was held. Approximately fifty persons were on hand for the Zumbathon and over seventy toys were collected during the event. The event proved to be a lot of fun for those in attendance including the entertaining mascot for the Los Fresnos Family Dentistry. The second event took place on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the same location. Santa Closs, a wrestling character resembling St. Nick was on hand to entertain along with The Falcon another wrestling character representing the area’s well known mascot. The events were sponsored by Dr. Monica Cantu Voreis of The Los Fresnos Family Dentistry.
