DRE Principal, Other Staff Members Approved by Board

Nine new staff positions were approved by the Los Fresnos CISD Board of Trustees at a Special Called meeting Thursday.

New hires approved include:

Veronica Grimaldo, Principal, Dora Romero Elementary (pictured)

Angela Gonzalez, Accountant, District Service Center

Sarah Blankenship, Athletic Trainer, Los Fresnos United Ninth Grade Campus

Na’ Tassia Finley, Speech Teacher, Los Fresnos High Schoo

Ruben Rocha, Physical Education Teacher, Los Fresnos High School

Soledad Garza, Social Studies Teacher, Los Fresnos United Ninth Grade Campus

Alejandro Calixto, Special Education Teacher, Resaca Middle School

Karen Flores, LDL Teacher, Olmito Elementary School

Kimbra McNellie Saxon, Music Teacher, Olmito Elementary

In other action, trustees received a report of the proposed budget for 2015-16 and approved minutes of the June 8 meeting.
